In 2001 (IITL) had been established as an assistant unit to provide search services and flow up the latest researches in the agricuultural engineering field. The lab-staff including suprvisor and engineers and co-oprated with head of departments and the AEnRI staff in order to achieve it is objectives.

(1)- Specifying and classifying the PCs in the institute and record it in a Data base.

(2)- Specifying and classifying the PCs hardware and institute network.

(3)- Linking all institute departments in a local network for electronic administrating system.

(4)- Establish a data base for AEnRI staff, researches, and equipments in the institute.

(5)- Establish an electronic system for saving and intercepting the administrating decisions and institute management meeting reports and publish it throw the institute network .

(6)- Training AEnRI staff in management information systems, internet, data base and general pc software.

(7)- Controlling and maintaining the locally institute network.

(1)- Introduce the scientific search services for all AEnRI staff in several scientific fields and print it in a hard or soft copy.

(2)- Presenting a maintaining and upgrading PCs soft or hardware for all AEnRI departments.

(3)- Preparing the workshops and seminars annual program with the training department by introduce the data base information about sectors in agricultural engineering field.

(4)- Constructing, designing and upload the AEnRI website to the internet.

(5)- Offering online training courses in intellectual property field sharing with  WIPO academy.
